Dr. Wendy Chan, DPT, LAc, Dipl OM, California state licensed and board-certified Physical Therapist, Acupuncturist and Herbalist.  

Having worked as a certified Physical Therapist for over 10 years at leading medical facilities in New York and California, Wendy learned that the combination of physical therapy, acupuncture and herbal medicine could result in superior clinical outcomes than physical therapy alone. 

Expanse Wellness was started to share this holistic treatment to improve the lives of her patients and community.

As a physical therapist at NYU Langone Hospital in New York, Dr. Chan developed clinical and managerial expertise in a variety of settings providing care for all types of patients with orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, and pulmonary diagnoses. She has also provided specialized care for gender affirmation procedures and organ transplants. 

As an acupuncturist, she has successfully treated patients with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, digestive problems, and women’s health conditions.
